Can I bring small children?

Yes, Capt. Bob volunteers his services to the local youth fishing club and loves to teach young anglers.

Do I need a license?

Yes, persons over age 16 need to obtain Florida fishing license. Available on line at myfwc.com.

How many persons can go?

3 People maximum per boat. Group trips or corporate trips are also available with courteous and professional guides. Feel free to contact Capt. Bob so that he can help you plan your Okeechobee bass fishing trip in advance.

What do I need to bring?

It is recommended to bring a light jacket, hat, drinks, snacks, sunscreen and camera. A cooler with ice is provided on board. Capt. Bob suggests to bring rod setups you are comfortable with if you are going on an artificial fishing trip. All equipment is provided for live bait fishing. What is the best time of the year to catch large bass on Lake Okeechobee?

The Lake fishes great all year but Sept. thru Nov. would be a good time to target that lunker. All winter there are numerous big bass caught as well in between cold fronts.
